Proposal & Marketing Specialist
📍 Vancouver, BC (Full-Time, In-Office)
💰 $100,000 – $130,000
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Proposal & Marketing Specialist to join a growing team in the construction and infrastructure sector. This is a hands-on role focused on enhancing existing systems, improving internal processes, and elevating the quality and efficiency of proposal submissions and marketing initiatives.
You’ll play a key role in refining workflows, developing best practices, and ensuring high-quality, deadline-driven deliverables across both proposals and marketing functions.
Key Responsibilities
Proposal Development & Process Improvement
- Lead and coordinate proposals including EOIs, RFQs, and RFPs
- Enhance and streamline proposal workflows, templates, and systems
- Write, edit, and compile high-quality proposal content (executive summaries, project profiles, resumes, etc.)
- Maintain and improve proposal libraries and standardized materials
- Analyze outcomes and continuously improve submission strategies
Marketing & Content Support
- Assist with planning and execution of marketing campaigns (digital, print, social, email)
- Develop and maintain marketing materials such as presentations, brochures, and reports
- Create engaging content for social media, website updates, and communications
- Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and overall presentation
Coordination & Collaboration
- Work cross-functionally with technical and operational teams
- Support internal communication and alignment on pursuits and campaigns
- Track key metrics and contribute to ongoing improvements in performance and efficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in proposals, marketing, or communications (AEC industry preferred)
- Strong writing, editing, and content development skills
- Experience managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Adobe Creative Suite is an asset
- Highly organized with a strong focus on process improvement and efficiency
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams
