Job description
We are looking for a nanny to care for our daughter, who will be 9 months old at the start of this position. We value long-term bonding and hope to find someone we can reach out to in the future if and when needed. *The Details* *Duration:* 4-month contract (June, July, August, and September). *Hours:* June and July: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday. August and September: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. _Note:_ We would like to start with a slow transition to ensure everyone is comfortable. Also, this is a live-out position. *Compensation:* ~$25/hour (based on experience). *Location:* Churchill Meadows, Mississauga. *Infant Care & Routine* *Daily Care:* Feeding bottles and solids, diaper changes, and giving her a bath. *Development & Play:* Engaging in age-appropriate play and taking her for daily stroller walks to get some fresh air. Keeping the play area clean. *Consistency:* Following and maintaining a steady nap schedule, including reading books before she sleeps. *Household Support* *Kitchen Assistance:* Washing and sanitizing bottles and pump parts, cleaning the high chair and utensils after meals. *Meal Prep:* Cooking food for the baby (including non-veg). Light assistance with chopping vegetables for the family. *Requirements* *Language:* Fluent in English. Ability to teach a second language (preferably French) is preferred. *Transportation:* Must own and drive a car. *Style:* Strong alignment with a gentle, responsive parenting approach that prioritizes emotional safety and connection. *Safety & Standards:* CPR and First Aid certification required; non-smoker. *Professionalism:* As we value a focused and professional environment, we appreciate a caregiver who arrives in a comfortable, modest/subtle attire suitable for active infant care. *References:* References required. *Next Steps* If this sounds like a good fit for you, please message me with a brief introduction of your experience and availability.
