Job Summary
Woodside Exteriors is seeking a motivated, people-focused professional to join our team as an HR Coordinator & Office Support (Maternity Leave Coverage). This full-time position is responsible for supporting and covering our HR Manager’s role during maternity leave.
This role is a multi-functional position that combines:
- Human Resources coordination
- Office administration
- Leadership of Health & Safety programs, including oversight of our Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC)

Key Responsibilities
Human Resources & People Operations:
- Manage day-to-day HR functions with a strong focus on administration and organization
- Coordinate recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and orientation of new employees
- Support performance management processes, internal communications, and employee engagement initiatives
- Maintain employee records, timesheets, benefits, apprenticeship programs, and compliance documentation
Health & Safety Leadership:
- Lead and support company Health & Safety initiatives across all jobsites
- Coordinate and maintain documentation and overall safety compliance requirements
- Organize, participate in, and document Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) meetings
- Track and manage crew certifications, safety training, and required documentation
Administrative & Office Support:
- Provide general office administration, coordination, and organizational support
- Assist with bookkeeping and data entry tasks using QuickBooks Online
- Manage purchase orders, invoices, and administrative tracking systems
- Support management with HR and administrative projects while maintaining organized office systems
Construction Site & Company Support
- Assist with site-related administrative needs and documentation
- Coordinate company events, sponsorships, and internal communications
- Engage with crews on-site to support team connection and operations
- Assist with social media coordination, including filming days and content support
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong people skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally and discreetly
- Previous experience in HR or office administration preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
- Comfortable stepping into responsibility quickly (with training)
- Proficiency with digital office tools such as QuickBooks Online, Monday.com, Microsoft Teams, and Excel
- Professional, reliable, and adaptable
Schedule & Duration
Full-Time: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Term: Maternity leave coverage anticipated to be approximately 18 months
