Job description
Help maintain a clean environment as a part time Cleaner at YMCA Oshawa Health & Fitness Centre. This role emphasizes cleaning facility areas and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all. YMCA Oshawa seeks a part time Cleaner for its health and fitness center, available for up to 26 hours per week. Your responsibilities will include the general cleaning of various facility areas, from washrooms to workout rooms. In addition, you'll uphold high cleanliness standards and follow workplace health and safety practices to ensure the wellbeing of all participants. Key Responsibilities: • Clean all facility areas, including cardio and strength rooms • Dust, sweep, wash floors, and vacuum carpets • Maintain cleanliness in washrooms and replenish toiletries • Collect and launder cleaning supplies and uniforms • Follow safety guidelines to ensure participant and staff wellbeing Requirements: • Previous cleaning experience in a commercial setting • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to work in physically demanding conditions • Flexibility in work schedule for various shifts • WHIMIS training is an asset Bring your cleaning expertise and commitment to service to YMCA Oshawa’s team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
