Role: Backend Developer (Node.js, python, go), Microservices, AWS
Location: Canada / Remote
Duration: Long term Contract
Job Descriptions:
· Lead the design, development, and deployment of java, node.js, and microservices applications on amazon web services.
· Collaborate with cross functional teams to define technical solutions and resolve complex technical issues.
· Mentor and coach team members on technical aspects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
· Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to maintain scalability and efficiency.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes and technologies.
· Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in java, node.js, microservices, and amazon web services.
Skill Requirements Skill Requirements
· Proficiency in java programming and development.
· Strong expertise in node.js and its runtime environment.
· Experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture.
· In-depth knowledge of amazon web services (aws) cloud services.
· Ability to lead and motivate a technical team towards successful project delivery.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
· Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
· Experience with AI-assisted development (Copilot, GPT, internal AI tools, etc.)
· Familiarity with security tooling (CVE, vulnerability scanners, container images)
· Experience with APIs, automation pipelines, and data aggregation tools
· Ability to build end-to-end tools quickly using AI (UI + backend + integrations)
· Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous, delivery projects
· Knowledge on AWS and automation of lambda services
