Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records for corporate and subsidiary entities.
- Reconciliations: Perform bank, intercompany, and account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure proper financial reporting.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, payments, and collections, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Expense Management: Review and verify expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Tax & Compliance Support: Assist in tax filings, audits, and regulatory compliance by maintaining proper documentation and records.
- Budgeting & Forecasting Assistance: Support the finance team in preparing budgets and financial projections.
- Data Analysis: Gather and analyze financial data to support decision-making and improve financial efficiency.
- Audit Support: Provide necessary documentation and assistance for internal and external audits.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- CPA, or close to completing CPA
- Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
- 3+ years experience in accounting environment, prior exposure to gathering, organizing, and inputting information is an asset
