YOUR DAY TO DAY:
We are expanding our digital manufacturing capabilities and seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer, Factory Digitization to complement, lead and drive end-to-end digital transformation across factory operations. The role will encompass integrating digital tools from production planning to asset tracking, and Industrial IoT solutions all into unified, scalable applications. You will elevate existing tools and create new foundational digital factory tools. Your strategic approach to guiding next‑generation digital business operations systems relies on the consideration of standardizing, scaling and maintenance. Success is built on the ability to identify, adapt and efficiently scope out and communicate these projects across operational disciplines.
YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE TO:
Collaboration, Leadership & Governance
- Partner with manufacturing, operations, engineering, and IT teams to define system requirements
- Plan and communicate project scopes and status cross functionally and at various organizational levels.
- Lead technical design reviews and provide architectural guidance
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, APIs, and workflows
- Mentor development teams, standardize and promote best practices in industrial software engineering
Manufacturing Operations Platform
- Architect and develop a scalable Manufacturing Operations Platform aligned with ISA- standards
- Digitize production workflows including work order management, routing, dispatching, and execution tracking
- Design and build event-driven architectures for real-time production visibility
- Integrate with ERP, PLM, and other enterprise systems via REST APIs, middleware, and messaging frameworks
- Ensure data consistency and synchronization between enterprise and shop-floor systems
Shop-Floor Connectivity & Data Acquisition
- Integrate machines, equipment and industrial systems using various communication protocols
- Design and implement edge data collection frameworks for reliable shop-floor communication
- Build scalable data ingestion pipelines from third-party systems, sensors, and industrial equipment
- Enable real-time streaming and processing of manufacturing data using modern event streaming platforms
Asset Tracking & Lifecycle Management
- Design and implement enterprise-grade asset tracking and management systems
- Integrate RFID, barcode, BLE, and IoT-based tracking technologies
- Develop capabilities for real-time asset location tracking, monitoring, and lifecycle management
- Implement preventive and predictive maintenance workflows integrated with MES
Data Engineering, Analytics & OEE
- Implement and standardize OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) frameworks across production lines
- Develop real-time dashboards, KPIs, and operational reporting systems
- Architect time-series and historical data platforms for high-volume industrial data
- Enable advanced analytics – Process downtime / optimization, predictive maintenance and anomaly detection
Factory Digitization & Industry
- Lead the design of connected factory architecture enabling Industry capabilities
- Implement IoT platforms, edge computing, and device management solutions
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, including paperless manufacturing and smart workflows
- Support adoption of advanced capabilities such as digital twins and AI-driven insights
System Architecture, Scalability & Performance
- Design highly available, fault-tolerant, and easy upkeep systems for / environments
- Ensure horizontal scalability across multiple plants, production lines, and geographies
- Implement secure communication frameworks between devices, gateways, and enterprise systems
- Define and enforce architecture standards, coding practices, and integration patterns
YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- + years of experience in software development, industrial automation, or manufacturing systems
- Strong expertise in backend development (.NET, C, , Java, , or Python)
- Deep experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
- Proven experience designing REST APIs and microservices-based architectures
- Strong understanding of MES systems, manufacturing workflows, and shop-floor operations
- Must meet all CGP requirements.
