Leverage yourexpertisein complexcommercialand industrial appraisals to help mitigate credit risk by estimating security values that support lending and special credit decisions.

As a Senior Appraiser,you’llregularly complete and review complex valuations and assess environmental risk for large and sophisticated assets. Your strong appraisal judgment and environmental riskexpertisewill enable you to support FCC lending, loanadministrationand special credit teams, while providing guidance and coaching to colleagues.

Whatyou’lldo

  • Complete and review complex valuations for commercial and industrial real andpersonal property

  • Conduct site inspections and prepare valuation reports to support new lending, loanadministrationand special credit requests

  • Assess,reviewandvalidateenvironmental risks and propose mitigation solutions related to FCC security

  • Provideexpertiseand guidance on valuation practices, environmental riskpoliciesand processes

  • Build andmaintainrelationships with external appraisal professionals, industryexpertsand partners

  • Support valuation research, databaseimprovementsand special projects asrequired

Whatyou’llbring to the team

Required qualifications:

  • Adegree in agriculture, finance,commerceor a related field

  • Minimumfiveyearsofexperience performing commercial and industrial property appraisals

  • Professional appraisal designation

  • Strong knowledge of appraisal principles, marketanalysisand environmental issues

  • Intermediateproficiencyin both official languages (English and French)

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced experience with environmental risk assessment and management

  • Experience contributing to valuation research or industry knowledge development
