Your future role
"Take on a new challenge and apply your financial management and industrial controlling expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and driven teammates.
You'll play a key role in optimizing cost performance and driving financial control for complex, multi-million engineering projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Procurement, Finance Managers, and Operations), monitor cost evolution and risk mitigation strategies, and proactively manage cost-to-complete and variance analysis, and much more."
We’ll look to you for:

Bridging budget, forecast, ROFO, and actuals, line-by-line, identifying root causes and cost deviations, including EAC reconciliation and deep actual analysis by WBS. ,

Partnering with Project Procurement & Finance Managers to optimize material cost control. ,

Monitoring cost evolution, inflation, indexation, and QCD deviations. ,
-
Driving KPIs, cost reductions, tender support, and risk mitigation plans. ,
-
Being the focal point for claims, material variances, and SAP-GSI cost data integrity. ,
-
Identifying cost reduction opportunities and reporting any cost overruns or productivity deterioration. ,
-
Supporting financial management of large-scale, multi-million engineering projects. ,

Acting as an interface with operations, particularly with the project supply manager. ,
-
Contributing to bidding processes and long-term contract management. ,

Leveraging your expertise to help drive sustainable transportation solutions in Canada."
