Our client has engaged us to assist them in hiring a contract for Data Science and Machine Learning Senior Specialist. Hourly pay range $ 76.00-$78.00/hour
Hybrid - 4 to 5 days in office

RESPONSIBILITIES

Employees in this job function are responsible for predicting and/ or extracting meaningful trends/ patterns/ recommendations from raw data, leveraging data science methodologies including Machine Learning (ML), predictive modeling, math, statistics, advanced analytics, etc.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand business requirements and analyze datasets to determine suitable approaches to meet analytic business needs and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Design and implement data analysis and ML models, hypotheses, algorithms, and experiments to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Apply analytics techniques (., data mining, predictive modeling, prescriptive modeling, math, statistics, advanced analytics, machine learning models and algorithms) to analyze data and uncover meaningful patterns, relationships, and trends.
  • Design efficient data loading, data augmentation, and data analysis techniques to enhance the accuracy and robustness of data science and machine learning models, including scalable models suitable for automation.
  • Research, study, and stay updated in data science, machine learning, and analytics tools and techniques; continuously identify avenues to enhance analysis efficiency, accuracy, and robustness.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years' experience in a relevant field
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • ETL
  • Database design
  • Statistics
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Big Data
  • BigQuery
  • 5+ years' experience across the skills above
  • Senior Specialist level
  • DevOps experience in a cloud environment (., deploying data pipelines or data-intensive applications using containerization technologies to a cloud environment through Infrastructure as Code).
  • Experience in Java and/or C# development.
  • Web application development experience is a plus.
