As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and executing effective, measurable marketing initiatives in collaboration with specialists in customer experience, communications, marketing intelligence, and digital strategies. This includes hands-on content creation and editing, managing Unica’s publication calendar, executing digital marketing campaigns, overseeing Unica’s social media presence, and coordinating internal and external communication activities.

You will have direct responsibility for generating high-quality content and creative assets, utilizing relevant digital marketing and productivity tools, and working closely with internal teams and broker partners. You will actively apply insights provided by Unica’s internal experts and Beneva’s marketing centers of excellence—including Media Performance and Content, Brand and Marketing Communications, and Relational Marketing—to enhance and optimize marketing effectiveness.

Salary Range: $69,341 - $98,592/year *

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize high-quality content for blogs, website, social media, broker communications, product materials, and policyholder outreach, in collaboration with Beneva’s internal agency.

• Build and maintain a detailed content calendar tailored to brokers and policyholders, ensuring consistent engagement and promotion of Unica’s products.

• Execute strategic marketing initiatives, including broker campaigns, digital lead generation, and brand positioning, in collaboration with customer experience, communications, marketing intelligence, Beneva’s internal agency, and digital strategy teams.

• Monitor and actively manage Unica’s website, social media channels, and email inquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  Assess and refine marketing actions based on performance insights to ensure continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with sales teams to provide marketing expertise and support business development efforts.

• Advocate for Unica’s brand identity through storytelling, video, and digital content that highlights the company’s expertise, culture, and unique value proposition, while working closely with Beneva’s creative teams.

• Work with Beneva’s marketing centers of excellence to interpret relevant data and extract key insights for marketing optimization.

• Develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives, including broker campaigns, digital lead generation, and brand positioning, in collaboration with customer experience, communications, marketing intelligence, Beneva’s internal agency, and digital strategy teams.

• Support Unica’s broker distribution strategy by aligning marketing efforts with broker engagement, education, and retention initiatives.

• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging marketing technologies, claims trends, and best practices to keep Unica’s marketing efforts innovative and competitive, particularly with artificial intelligence in SEO, zero-click search strategies, and AI-driven search environments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, marketing, communications, journalism or related field is an asset

• 3-5 years of hands-on marketing experience, preferably in financial services or property & casualty insurance.

• Proficiency with marketing tools and platforms, including content management systems, email marketing software, and creative/design tools like Adobe Suite.

• Proven experience in content marketing, digital campaign execution, and brand storytelling.

• Familiarity with marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Semrush, etc.) is an asset but not required strong ability to interpret insights and coordinate with Beneva’s marketing teams is key.

• Bilingualism (English & French) is an asset.
