Job Title: Construction General Labourer

Job Description

The role involves supporting an active civil construction crew, assisting with site preparation while working safely around equipment. The projects span from Chilliwack to Vancouver, primarily east of the Port Mann Bridge.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site preparation, including digging, leveling, and cleanup.
• Shovel, rake, and move dirt, gravel, and materials.
• Dig holes and install gravel, rubber, and turf.
• Operate hand tools and equipment such as tampers.
• Follow directions from supervisors while also showing initiative.
• Work safely around civil construction equipment.
• Learn and assist with laser leveling in the future.

Essential Skills

• 1+ year of construction experience.
• Ability to travel to Chilliwack with reliable vehicle.
• Good communication skills and positive attitude.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Physically capable to perform manual labor.
• Proficiency with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge in civil construction.
• Experience as a skilled laborer.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
