Job description
Kickstart your career with a Mechanical Engineering Co-op role at our Trail operations. Experience hands-on project management in a supportive industrial environment focused on safety and innovation.

Ideal for undergraduate students, this temporary full-time position will immerse you in the dynamics of maintenance engineering. You will manage project schedules, collaborate with engineers for mechanical upgrades, and support operational tasks to enhance efficiency. Your multitasking and interpersonal skills will be vital as you work with a range of technical personnel.

Key Responsibilities: • Uphold safety and environmental standards on site • Coordinate and monitor maintenance project schedules • Identify budget inefficiencies and suggest improvements • Work with the engineering team on mechanical project designs • Assist trades in troubleshooting equipment failures

Requirements: • Must be an enrolled engineering student in Canada • Strong project management and organizational skills • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Must be prepared to commute or relocate
