Job description
Elevate risk management strategies at Sun Life as the Director of Corporate Operational Risk Management. Focus on enhancing frameworks and governance to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

In this pivotal role, reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Corporate Operational Risk Management, you will be responsible for the ongoing development and enhancement of the Operational Risk Management Framework. Collaborate with Business Group Risk Offices to strengthen operational risk capabilities while ensuring consistency in execution across the board. Your insights will guide the effective implementation of regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities: • Design and refine the operational risk management framework • Implement methodologies for risk identification and assessment • Update policies and governance documentation for clarity • Provide oversight and challenge first line risk assessments • Generate enterprise operational risk reports for management

Requirements: • 8+ years in corporate risk management • Direct operational risk management experience • Familiarity with risk governance and internal controls • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
