Job description
Elevate production standards at Modine as a Lead Hand in Calgary's mechanical line. This morning shift role focuses on leading a team to meet quality and efficiency benchmarks.
As a Lead Hand, you will support and mentor a team in mechanical assembly operations. Your ability to read mechanical drawings and coordinate activities will directly impact project timelines. Working closely with various departments will facilitate continuous improvement and uphold quality standards throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities: • Lead a team of mechanical assembly employees • Adapt to changing priorities in daily production • Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications • Maintain quality during HVAC component installations • Conduct cycle counts for material management
Requirements: • 2-3 years of relevant leadership experience • Strong background in mechanical assembly or manufacturing • Ability to read and understand technical drawings • Familiarity with quality assurance processes • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
