Senior Embedded QNX Engineer Production Software Optimization Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Embedded QNX Engineer to optimize and enhance QNX OS performance for production automotive systems. This role focuses on system-level profiling, debugging, and ensuring compliance with automotive quality and safety standards while supporting long-term platform stability. Key Responsibilities
Optimize QNX OS performance across CPU, memory, storage, and IPC.
Enhance and integrate new features while maintaining production stability.
Perform system-level profiling, tracing, and root-cause analysis.
Debug complex issues across OS, BSP, and middleware layers.
Collaborate with architecture, hardware, and validation teams to ensure robustness.
Ensure compliance with automotive quality, safety, and performance requirements.
Support production releases, maintenance updates, and long-term stability.
Requirements
Strong expertise in QNX Neutrino RTOS internals (scheduler, memory management, IPC, interrupts, driver framework).
Hands-on experience with Qualcomm SoCs (preferably 8650 and 8775).
Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded and system-level development.
Experience with performance tuning and optimization in real-time environments.
Familiarity with BSPs, device drivers, and low-level debugging tools.
Background in production automotive software development.
Preferred Skills
Experience with functional safety (ISO 26262) or ASPICE environments.
Knowledge of automotive middleware and diagnostic frameworks.
Exposure to virtualization or hypervisor-based systems.
