Job description
Elevate your career with Shell Canada as a Lubricants Technical Advisor in the mining sector. This remote role supports oil sands projects and requires travel to Fort McMurray for field-based activities.

As a Lubricants Technical Advisor, you will primarily focus on optimizing lubricant applications for mining operations. Shell seeks an experienced professional with a strong educational background in Mechanical, Petroleum, or Chemical Engineering, who has at least five years of relevant experience in lubricants within the mining or heavy construction industries. Engage directly with clients and sales teams to enhance equipment reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities: • Provide expert technical support to oil sands customers • Conduct lubrication assessments and field trials • Troubleshoot lubrication challenges in the mining sector • Deliver training on lubricant applications and best practices • Collaborate with maintenance teams on reliability improvements

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in related technical fields • 5 years' experience in lubricants applications for mining • Professional certifications like CLS or MLT preferred • Ability to travel 50–60% of the time • Valid driver’s license required
