The Role We’re expanding our Production team and have an incredible opportunity for a Reliability Engineer, located in Calgary, AB. In this dynamic role, as the subject‑matter expert, you will provide technical guidance that focuses on delivering outstanding results across all assets. Your expertise will be pivotal in supporting Operations by improving wellsite and gathering system asset performance through compressor station optimization, process‑focused technical support, defect elimination and other types of continuous improvement initiatives.

How You Will Contribute

Review production and downtime with detailed facility reviews

Develop and implement long‑term equipment reliability initiatives and gathering system optimization efforts to maximize value

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and/or new engineering applications and methodologies

Collaborate with field and Remote Operation Centre (ROC) Engineers on facility troubleshooting and optimization opportunities

Lead bad actor reviews and provide technical guidance on Root Cause Failure Analysis investigations

Monitor, analyze and forecast compressor station data trends and downtime to identify opportunities for potential optimization

What You Bring

Completion of an Engineering degree, or an accredited Technologist diploma, within the Petroleum, Mechanical or Chemical disciplines

Minimum of 5 years prior relevant oil and gas experience focused on the maintenance and/or operation of surface assets

Proficiency in working with production monitoring and analysis software such as Seeq, SCADA, PI

Independent work ethic and ability to self‑start on new initiatives

Field experience with natural gas processing facilities and related rotating equipment is preferred

Experience in BC operations and Oil and Gas Commission regulations considered to be an asset

Previous experience with reliability programs and techniques such as RAM, Weibull and Crow‑AMSAA analysis, RCAs, Lifecycle Value Analysis, etc. viewed as beneficial
