Job description
A high-growth telecommunications organization is seeking a Director, FP&A to support a multi-year network expansion and significant customer growth. This role partners with Customer Operations and Sales & Marketing to drive financial performance, improve forecasting, and support strategic decision-making. Reporting to the VP, FP&A, this individual will act as a key liaison between business units and Corporate FP&A, delivering insights to enhance budgeting, cost management, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary finance partner to Customer Operations and Sales & Marketing Improve forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting accuracy Analyze performance, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership Drive cost optimization, productivity improvements, and process efficiencies Track capital and operating expenditures against plan Support business cases, financial modeling, and strategic initiatives (including M&A) Collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to corporate planning and reporting Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field; MBA/CPA/CFA 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial modeling, and budgeting/forecasting Experience supporting large capital projects; telecom or infrastructure experience is an asset Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities Proven ability to influence and operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
