Responsibilities

If there are no published standards for a given designactivity,theplanningstage may includethedrafting ofnewstandards TechnicalStrategicPlanning SupportIntegrationefforts SupportTechnicalInvestigationandEngineeringStudies(TIES) SupportTestingandEvaluation(T&E)activities Contributetosustainmentanddisposalefforts ImplementLabfunctionalitythat will replicatedevelopmental avionics & computingsystemsfor eventual implementationon specific aircraft fleets.Properimplementation of LabfunctionalitywillconsistofthedetaileddevelopmentofmissionsystemsoftwareanddesigndocumentationtakingintoconsiderationtheTechnicalAirworthinessProgram(TAP),softwarestandardsand industrypracticesforavionics systems;and Preparetechnicalbriefings Providenetworking & virtualization Subject Matter Expert (SME) advice andtechnical support forother relatedactivities as agreed upon between the TA and the Contractor (e.g.: trainend-usersand newly involvedstakeholders, provide technical documentation to other stakeholders, attendrelevantmeetings/conferencesandsharefindingswiththeprojectteammembers,provideassistancewithnetworking appliances,inventorytracking) Qualifications

Must hold a College Diploma or UniversityDegree in an Information Technologyrelated domain (e.g.: ComputerScienceNetwork Management) with a specialization in networking. Ifanequivalencyisinvoked,itmustbefromaCanadianpost-secondaryeducation institution* *To be considered acceptableby Canada, each diploma must be fromarecognized Canadian university or college.
