Role Summary The Senior Analyst, Corporate Security, plays a critical role in strengthening CPP Investments’ global security posture through advanced open‑source intelligence (OSINT) and investigative practices. This role is responsible for proactively identifying, analyzing, and assessing emerging threats to personnel, assets, and operations by leveraging publicly available information, internal data sources, and intelligence networks. The Analyst leads and supports intelligence‑driven investigations, transforming complex data into actionable insights, advisories, and briefings that inform strategic decision‑making. By continuously monitoring global risk trends and threat actors, the role enhances situational awareness and enables timely, effective responses to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
Accountabilities
Develop an understanding of the threat profiles, activities, and trends that impact the organization and transform information collection into various intelligence products such as advisories, assessments, briefings, and presentations.
Support the overall security posture of the firm to identify and mitigate risks across our global offices.
Support the Corporate Security response to potential threats and vulnerabilities through the collection, analysis, and dissemination of information in a timely manner. This includes the proactive monitoring of threats that may impact personnel, assets, or operations.
Lead and support security and intelligence‑driven investigations by leveraging open‑source intelligence (OSINT) and internal sources to identify, analyze, and assess incidents or threats, producing clear findings and recommendations to inform decision‑making and enhance the firm’s security posture.
Develop and manage relationships with stakeholders to facilitate intelligence sharing, align on risk priorities, and coordinate effective responses to security incidents and emerging threats.
Assist with the Travel Risk Management Program by providing analytical support and monitoring for potential impacts.
Assist with various tasks, as required, in support of incidents, investigations or in support of high‑profile events.
Qualifications
University degree in a relevant field (International Relations, Political Science, Public Safety, Risk Management, or related discipline).
3-5 years of relevant analytical experience within the security or intelligence community.
3-5 years of relevant threat intelligence collection and product development.
Experience in OSINT including knowledge of best practices, collection, and analytical techniques.
