Job descriptionBold infrastructure doesn’t build itself. It takes people who understand how to take complex, high-stakes projects from concept to reality—without losing control of cost, schedule, or quality.
We’re looking for a
Program Manager
to lead the design and construction of
high-density, mission-critical data center infrastructure
across multiple sites in Canada on behalf of our client. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who thrives in complex build environments and knows how to bring together engineering, construction, vendors, and utilities to deliver at scale.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Lead full‑lifecycle delivery of data center builds—from design through construction, commissioning, and handover
Drive program execution across multiple sites, ensuring alignment on scope, schedule, budget, and risk
Partner with engineering teams on MEP systems, power distribution, and cooling strategies (including high‑density and liquid cooling environments)
Manage contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure quality, accountability, and performance
Coordinate with utilities on capacity planning, infrastructure upgrades, and expansion requests
Build and maintain detailed project schedules (MS Project) tied to construction milestones
Own capex forecasting, including cost tracking, cash flow alignment, and variance reporting
Develop clear, executive-level reporting on project status, risks, and performance
What You Bring
10+ years of experience in construction or program management within data centers or similar critical infrastructure/mission critical facilities and environments
Strong understanding of power, cooling, and MEP systems in complex builds
Proven ability to manage large‑scale, design‑build projects with multiple stakeholders
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project for scheduling, tracking, and reporting
Hands‑on experience with capex budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Experience working with utilities and infrastructure planning (power, upgrades, capacity requests)
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage complex information without losing accuracy
Strong communicator who can translate technical detail into clear executive updates
What Makes You Effective
You take ownership and operate with a high level of autonomy
You’re proactive; you don’t wait for problems to surface
You’re comfortable in fast‑paced, evolving environments with multiple priorities
You influence across teams without relying on formal authority
You bring structure, clarity, and discipline to complex programs
Primary focus on projects in Ontario (Toronto & London), with visibility across Alberta
Location flexibility may be considered for the right candidate
This is a senior‑level, individual contributor role reporting into the executive level, with significant cross‑functional leadership
If you’ve led complex infrastructure builds and know how to manage both the technical and commercial sides of delivery, this is an opportunity to take ownership of high-impact projects in a rapidly growing environment.
