We’re looking for a Chef / Store Manager to join the opening team for an exciting new concept.
Inspired by one of our most beloved restaurants, Ask for Luigi, this concept is built around a simple idea: great pasta, served quickly, without compromise. It’s a tight menu of dishes people know and love, prepared with care and intention, and designed for the pace and energy of a high-volume environment. This is Luigi at its most direct form — familiar, comforting, and generous. No extras, no complications. Just good pasta, served well. Even in a quick-service setting, the goal remains the same: to create a moment of connection through food and hospitality.
We’re looking for a Chef / Store Manager to lead the team with both heart and standards. In this role, you’ll be responsible for both the kitchen and the day-to-day operations of the space. This is a role for someone who understands how to balance quality with speed and who believes that developing people is just as important as developing plates.
You have:
1+ years experience in a similar role
A passion for food, cooking, leadership, and mentorship
A calm, kind, and steady presence with team members, especially under pressure
A sense of ownership in your role with a willingness to ask questions, receive feedback, and improve
The ability to support cost controls for food, labour, and inventory, following systems and standards with care
Experience with Italian cuisine is considered an asset
