Senior Communications Specialist - HYBRID

Step into a high-impact role as a Training Specialist with our Edmonton client for a long-term contract engagement. This is a fantastic chance to shape how users interact with the Digital Regulatory Assurance System (DRAS) by creating the tools and resources that drive system adoption. You will work within a forward-thinking environment, translating complex technical requirements into practical learning solutions that empower staff and ensure operational excellence across the organization.

Responsibilities
• Create and maintain practical learning materials including job aids, guides, and presentations.
• Translate system requirements and business processes into clear training tools.
• Identify user performance gaps and recommend targeted learning interventions.
• Design formal virtual training sessions with structured course outlines and exercises.
• Facilitate virtual training sessions and provide guidance to participants.
• Update learning products to reflect system changes and evolving business needs.
• Manage training repositories to ensure all content is current and easy to navigate.

Qualifications
• A degree or diploma in business, communications, or adult education.
• Five years of experience creating technical documentation and user training resources.
• Five years of experience delivering interactive training through web-based platforms.
• Five years of experience managing multiple tasks with strict timelines simultaneously.
• Proven ability to document business processes and develop change management strategies.
