Data Foundations Principal - Diabsolut

As part of Diabsolut’s continued growth, we are expanding our Innovation team with an experienced Data Foundations Principal focused on leadership role. It is not a delivery role, a utilization role, or a presales capacity role. It exists so that Diabsolut continues to set the agenda on what good looks like in enterprise AI.

This fully remote role is open to candidates across North America with a preference for Montreal or Toronto.

Diabsolut is one of the first organizations putting a coherent agentic enterprise architecture into production, and the market has noticed. The Accidental Agentic Enterprise narrative, our MAF and Informatica governance model, the two-layer thesis (MAF governs what agents do, Informatica governs what agents create), and the Delivery Intelligence stack are early signals of something rare: a consultancy living what it sells. Holding that position requires someone whose full-time job is thinking, writing, and speaking about what comes next, and making sure our external voice stays ahead of where the rest of the market is catching up.

This is a pure thought leadership role. It is not a delivery role, a utilization role, or a presales capacity role. It exists so that Diabsolut continues to set the agenda on what good looks like in enterprise AI.

You will part of the Innovation team, reporting to the SVP of Innovation. You will work daily with the Director of Data Foundations (Delivery) on methodology and practice execution, but the gravitational center of this role is outward-facing: clients, partners, events, writing, the market. This is the strategic and commercial face of the Data Foundations practice.

Core responsibilities

Market-shaping thought leadership

• Author the definitive POVs on enterprise AI done well. Publish with frequency and clarity across LinkedIn, long-form writing, podcasts, conference stages, and customer roundtables.
• Extend Diabsolut's existing intellectual frameworks (organizational knowledge debt, governance-as-speed-advantage, the Transformation Principle, Lobby / Concierge / Network architecture) and generate the next wave as the market matures.
• Stay visibly ahead. When a customer or partner is looking for someone to tell them what to think about data foundations for agentic AI, your name should surface first.

Practice story and commercial positioning

• Own the external narrative for the Data Foundations practice end to end.
• Shape how the practice shows up in pursuits: the words, the frameworks, the killer slides, the differentiating concepts.
• Build and maintain advisory-level relationships with senior buyers (CDOs, CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Data) across target accounts.

Strategic client engagement

• Show up in high-stakes conversations where the value is insight, not hours: architectural strategy sessions, agentic readiness assessments, executive workshops.
• Translate client ambition into a Diabsolut-shaped roadmap, then hand delivery to the Director of Data Foundations and team.

Partnership with delivery

• Work hand in glove with the Director of Data Foundations on methodology, toolkits, and practice maturity. The Principal owns the what; the Director owns the how.
• Keep the delivery team supplied with sharp, current frameworks. Keep the external story grounded in what the team is actually building.

What success looks like at 12 months

• Diabsolut is cited by industry analysts, partners, and customers as a leading voice on enterprise AI data foundations.
• A visible body of published thought leadership with measurable reach and meaningful inbound pull.
• A pipeline of advisory-level engagements that could only have come from someone with this profile.
• Internal frameworks refreshed and extended. The Data Foundations practice has a sharper story than it did 12 months ago.

Who you are

Required Skills & Experience

• A senior voice in the enterprise data and AI space. Typically 15+ years across some combination of consulting, practitioner, and analyst backgrounds.
• Deep fluency in current architecture patterns. Governed agent orchestration, data platforms and Data Cloud, metadata and governance, the intersection of Salesforce, MuleSoft, Informatica, Data Cloud, and foundation-model platforms like Azure AI Foundry.
• Recognized writer and speaker, or ready to become one. Comfortable shipping ideas publicly at pace.
• Advisory-level presence. Able to hold a room of senior buyers and leave them with a sharper view of their own strategy.
• Commercially sharp. This is not pure R&D; the role exists to shape how Diabsolut wins.
