Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
We’re looking for a Content Author to work with a team of designers, developers and client stakeholders in providing high quality website management and digital experiences for users. The ideal candidate will have an attention to detail and a keen eye for design.
What you'll do here:
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on design implementation, content fragments and messaging frameworks in accordance with team workflows and brand guidelines, leveraging agile methodologies for delivering experiences to our websites
Update CMS templates, images, videos and webpages and blog posts
Develop and maintain authoring documentation, component usage guidelines, and content governance practices to enable non-technical users.
Work independently on and collaborate through testing cycles and documentation of best practices.
Ensure content is SEO-driven, error-free and accessibility compliant prior to production delivery
Participate in regular quality audits, troubleshooting issues across author/publish/dispatcher environments and documenting/reporting minor and major updates and to identify opportunities for improving site structure and ensuring positive user experiences
What you bring to the table:
Minimum 5-years hands-on experience working with one or more enterprise Content Management Systems or equivalent.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, with a strong focus on accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), semantic markup, ARIA, and on-page SEO best practices.
Experience with Figma, Photoshop, Sketch, HTML and/or CSS.
Experience with content management, design principles.
Energetic ability to process information quickly, meet deadlines and manage priorities with multiple initiatives with an impeccable attention to detail
5-years experience working within an agile environment, leveraging Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
Experience with AEM 6.5 (asset).
Experience working with Wordpress and/or Craft CMS, using Twig templating, managing structured content and integrating functionality via GraphQL API (asset).
Experience with Adobe Launch, Analytics, and Target for tagging and personalization (asset).
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (asset).
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
