Explore a vital role as a Cyber Security Specialist with Ontario Power Generation in Oshawa, ON. Ontario Power Generation is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to bolster its vulnerability management efforts. This full-time role requires a four-year degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, and a year of cybersecurity study. You will analyze vulnerabilities, support remediation planning, and collaborate with key stakeholders to mitigate risks effectively. Key Responsibilities: • Support vulnerability scanning for systems and applications • Analyze findings to assess severity and business impact • Incorporate threat intelligence into prioritization decisions • Track remediation status and maintain accurate records • Prepare vulnerability reports and dashboards for stakeholders Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field • Experience in vulnerability management and threat analysis • Strong analytical and documentation skills • Knowledge of vulnerability assessment methodologies • Ability to clearly communicate technical risks to teams Engage in critical cybersecurity initiatives to proactively manage and mitigate risks at OPG. #J-18808-Ljbffr
