About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Product Manager with deep expertise in Fintech and Card Issuing to join our client-focused product organization. You will drive innovation across core issuing, payments, fraud, and CRM capabilities while working closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams to deliver a world-class banking experience tailored for next-generation workers.
This role requires hands-on experience building or managing card issuing products, strong familiarity with card scheme rules, and prior work with issuing processors like Marqeta, Galileo, Fiserv, Payfare, or Zeta.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Strategy
- Own the product roadmap for issuing, payments, and fraud-related features.
- Lead the development and enhancement of card issuing capabilities including authorization, disputes, clearing, and settlement.
- Drive strategic decisions balancing short-term needs with long-term business vision.
Payments, Issuing & Integrations
- Build and enhance payment services with exceptional end-user experience.
- Integrate third‑party services and issuing processors (e.g., Marqeta, Galileo, Fiserv, Payfare).
- Ensure solutions align with Visa/Mastercard scheme rules and issuing best practices.
- Collaborate with risk & compliance teams to develop fraud mitigation, KYC/AML, and risk scoring features.
CRM & Platform Development
- Lead the development of an in-house CRM platform tailored for financial services/fintech.
- Collaborate with engineering to transform requirements into scalable technical specifications.
Execution & Delivery
- Own and manage the product backlog, prioritizing work across sprints.
- Write detailed user stories and ensure they are groomed and ready for development.
- Remove business-level blockers and drive execution across Agile teams.
- Hold product demos for internal and external stakeholders.
User Insights & Operational Excellence
- Review product analytics, feedback, and telemetry to guide product decisions.
- Work with Customer Support to identify, prioritize, and resolve production issues.
- Document functional/non-functional requirements, release notes, and internal updates.
Qualifications & Skills
- 7–12 years of product management experience, ideally in Fintech, card issuing, or payments.
- Deep understanding of the issuing lifecycle (authorization → clearing → settlement → disputes).
- Experience with at least two of the following:
- CRM systems (build or integration, ideally in fintech)
- Payments or fintech product management
- Fraud prevention in payments/banking
- Hands-on experience working with Visa/Mastercard scheme rules.
- Strong background integrating or managing platforms like Marqeta, Galileo, Fiserv, Payfare, Zeta.
- Solid understanding of KYC/AML, risk scoring, fraud management, card lifecycle operations.
- Proven ability to manage mobile and web-based products end-to-end.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills across technical and business teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
