This position provides expert leadership over SCIC’s privacy management framework, ensuring compliance with The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP), the Provincial Personal Information Privacy Framework, and related federal and provincial legislation—while enabling responsible information use that supports SCIC’s programs, services, and innovation.

If approved for hybrid work, you will be required to work remotely preferably from one of SCIC's Customer Service Offices (CSO) within the province while making scheduled trips to head office on a monthly/quarterly basis. This includes attending onsite divisional meetings, training sessions, employee engagement and team collaboration activities, as well as corporate meetings and events.

  • Develop and maintain records management and archiving practices aligned with legislation and best practices.

  • Deliver privacy awareness training and provide practical guidance to staff on privacy obligations and emerging risks.
  • Support informed decision‑making by translating complex legislative requirements into clear, actionable advice.
