Job description
AFIMAC Canada is seeking experienced Power Line Technicians for specialized assignments in Eastern Canada. This role involves extended hours and generous pay for dedicated professionals. This temporary position with AFIMAC offers contract durations of 1 to 120 days, featuring competitive compensation and hotel provisions when necessary. You will work in various conditions, performing installation and maintenance on electrical systems while actively contributing to emergency response efforts. Your commitment to safety and efficiency will be pivotal in critical situations. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain and operate overhead and underground systems • Install, test, and repair high voltage equipment • Perform emergency repairs to restore power • Collaborate with multiple departments effectively • Adhere to safety and environmental standards Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent is essential • Valid 434A Certification preferred • Minimum 1 year experience as Power Line Technician • Valid Class 3 or AZ license required • Must be able to work extended hours and lift 50lbs Join AFIMAC Canada and utilize your skills in a challenging yet rewarding environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
