WHAT YOU ARE
We are seeking a talented and experienced Game mathematician to join our dynamic casino game team working alongside Development and Art teams, the Game Mathematician will be responsible for creating and verifying the math models for slot machines.
We welcome early-career candidates with strong mathematical foundations and a willingness to learn.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop and maintain mathematical models for slot machine mechanics, primarily using Excel
- Build and run simulation models in C++ and/or C# to validate game performance and outcomes
- Collaborate with design and product teams to prototype and refine new game concepts and features
- Analyze simulation results to ensure compliance with statistical targets (e.g., RTP, volatility, hit frequency)
- Translate mathematical concepts into practical implementations for game development
- Provide accurate effort estimates for modeling and simulation tasks and deliver within agreed timelines
- Support cross-functional teams by delivering high-quality models and simulations under tight deadlines
- Continuously improve modeling approaches, tools, and documentation
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
- Strong foundation in probability theory and statistical thinking
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using mathematical reasoning
- Experience with Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, or macros)
- Basic programming experience in at least one language (e.g., C++, C#, Python, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage time effectively and deliver work within tight deadlines
- Clear communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Exposure to simulation or mathematical modeling (academic, professional, or personal projects)
