Position Summary
Our Calgary-based client is in need of a highly skilled Cybersecurity Business Analyst (BA) with proven experience in supporting a variety of large-scale, transformational initiatives for an enterprise Environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the BA lead, ensuring alignment between business needs, technical constraints, solution design and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify scope, constraints, dependencies, and integration points across business units, systems and processes.
• Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and walkthroughs with SMEs, IT teams, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Elicit and document high-level and detailed business requirements that can be prioritized, traced, tested and delivered in a hybrid model.
• Collaborate with technical teams to align solution design, validate business expectations, and support UAT.
• Contribute to and comply with evolving BA governance standards, including peer reviews, standardized templates, and continuous improvement practices. Required
Qualifications
• Minimum 5+ years of Business Analysis experience across complex, multidisciplinary projects.
• Proven delivery experience in Cyber Security or Infrastructure/Cloud-related projects
o Hybrid Delivery
o BRD Development and RTM Management in JIRA, Confluence (or equivalent tools)
o Process modeling (BPMN 2.0)
o Data-oriented requirements and governance practices
• Strong facilitation, communication, and synthesis skills.
Nice to have:
• Experience in the utility, infrastructure, or energy sectors.
• Familiarity with industry frameworks and/or methodologies such as PMI, P3M3, Value Stream Management and change/transformation models.
• CBAP certification is an asset
