This position offers the opportunity to be part of a world-class tax department with team members located in both The Woodlands, Texas and Ajax, Ontario. Our cross-border tax teams collaborate closely to support the comprehensive tax provision, compliance, audit, and strategic planning requirements of a large and sophisticated international organization.As a Senior Tax Analyst with us the minimum responsibilities are:Assist with the preparation of the quarterly tax provision under US GAAPPreparation of federal and provincial income tax returnsCalculating monthly tax installmentsPreparation of foreign reporting information returns for foreign affiliatesAssist with the preparation of the Globe Income ReturnPreparation and filing of commodity tax returnsAssist with CRA and Provincial Revenue Agency noticesPrepare working papers to address various CRA / Provincial tax audit inquiriesKeep informed of tax laws, regulations, and rulings pertaining to international, federal, provincial and local taxesAnalyze and prepare internal memos and reports on the tax effects of business transactionsWhat We Need From You:Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirementsBachelor's degree in accounting or financeCPA designation or Masters in Taxation is preferred2 - 4 years experience working in a tax department of a public accounting firm or large corporationExperience with large corporate or complex tax provision preferredCompletion or enrollment in the CPA In-Depth Tax Course is an assetTeam player with strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong computer skills in MS Office and TaxPrep tax software experienceWhat You'll Get From Us:Competitive WagesRetirement Plan with company match; let us help you save for your futureBenefits; Medical, Dental, VisionPerks, perks, perks!
