Job description
We are a first-time couple anticipating the arrival of our newborn in October 2026 and are seeking a full-time, live-in nanny to join our home, long-term. Our home is located in the lovely city of Burnaby, BC. This position entails being an integral part of our family, providing the care and nurturing environment we are eager to continue for our child. In this role, you must be a reliable, caring person with a gentle nature. A positive attitude is a must, and you should be a non-smoker. We will need help with all newborn duties. This comprises of bathing, dressing the baby, doing the baby's laundry, and ironing our little one's clothes. Your responsibilities will also include light housekeeping tasks, from keeping the kitchen tidy to general cleaning of the entire house once in a while. You'll be required to run some errands, with a specific focus on grocery shopping. Ability to cook and prepare meals for our child as they grow older would be an added advantage. The role calls for a dedicated individual, willing to work flexible hours. Specifically, the work schedule spans through most days of the week. A driver's license isn't required for this position, but would be a plus. We value honesty and trustworthiness, therefore reference checks will be a key part of our selection process. We want to ensure we're welcoming the best fit for our family into our home, with the proposed start date being late summer 2026. We are a professional couple with a very comfortable living space. This position is more than just a job. We're looking for someone to be an extended part of our growing family.
