Job description
Embrace a rewarding role as a Family Physician in a unique northern community. Enjoy flexible work hours with travel benefits and the chance to make a meaningful impact on Indigenous health. This position offers a 0.25-0.75 FTE commitment, allowing for a tailored work-life balance. You will need a Manitoba medical license and membership in the CMPA. Essential skills include health assessment, leadership, and a collaborative spirit, alongside sensitivity to Indigenous cultures and healthcare needs. Key Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive health assessments • Collaborate with extended practice nurses and paramedics • Manage patient care with a focus on anti-racist practices • Participate in community health initiatives • Work independently while part of a cohesive team Requirements: • Licensure with College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba • CMPA membership is mandatory • Current ACLS, ATLS, PALS certifications • Indigenous cultural awareness training required • Commitment to reliable work ethics and attendance Serve a vital role in health promotion, using empathy and leadership to provide culturally competent care in a supportive environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
