Our client is a trusted supplier of circuit breakers and MCC buckets, serving industrial, commercial, and residential clients across Canada. With a large inventory of new, reconditioned, used-tested, and obsolete electrical equipment, they provide fast, reliable support nationwide. Their products are fully tested, backed by warranty, and supported by /7 emergency service to help minimize downtime.
Position Summary
Our client is seeking a sharp, level-headed Counter Sales Representative with strong electrical knowledge, particularly in circuit breakers and related equipment. This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role involving high call volumes, quoting, order processing, and coordination with the warehouse team. The position requires someone who can move efficiently between the sales counter and warehouse to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
• Answer incoming calls and assist customers with product inquiries, availability, and pricing
• Handle – calls per day while maintaining professionalism, even with urgent or challenging customers
• Provide product guidance based on electrical knowledge, with a focus on circuit breakers
• Create quotes, follow up on requests, and convert opportunities into orders
• Accurately enter sales orders into the ERP system
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to locate and confirm inventory
• Support shipping tasks as needed, including packing and paperwork coordination
• Move between the counter and warehouse to support order fulfillment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
Requirements
• Strong electrical knowledge, especially circuit breakers (molded case, air breakers, and related components)
• Previous sales experience (counter sales, inside sales, or parts sales preferred)
• Ability to handle high call volumes in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm and professional
• Solid computer skills and experience with ERP systems
• Experience creating quotes and processing orders
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to multitask
• Reliable, level-headed, and able to work with urgency while maintaining accuracy
Nice to Have
• Experience in electrical distribution, industrial supply, or electrical parts sales
• Familiarity with major breaker manufacturers (Eaton/Cutler Hammer, Square D, Siemens/ITE, Federal Pioneer, GE, Westinghouse)
• Shipping/receiving or warehouse experience

• Accurately identifying breaker types and matching the correct parts efficiently
