Job description

We are looking for a Regional Administrator, Training and Support to join our Residential Operations team in Calgary, AB. Reporting to the Manager, Operations Administration. This position supports all administration activities for the assigned region. The Regional Administrators are an important part of our team, as they assist in the effective operations of our property management offices, while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and train regional staff throughout Canada on standardized policies, processes and procedures
  • Support and assist regional teams with their day-today operations, including resident's account reconciliations
  • Create/Review/Update Manuals for standardized policies, processes and procedures
  • Administrate corporate operational programs such as Resident Insurance and credit check.
  • Administrate regional commission policy monthly including consolidation for payroll processing
  • Auditing accounts and processes to ensure policies and manuals are being adhered to in the regions
  • Create and review receipt deposits for corporate revenue payments
  • Auditing of Yardi related records for compliance such as deposit accounting, monthly postings, utility validations and chargebacks, unit transfers
  • May support receivables process, assisting with aged receivables, collection calls and RTDRS filings
  • Collaborate with and support team members, participating in meetings pertaining to progress, health and safety, and other related operational updates
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Able to work independently, is a self-starter, and able to effectively multi-task
  • Three years of previous experience in an administrative function
  • Previous experience in a Property Management organization will be an asset
  • Familiarity with Residential Tenancy Acts in various provinces/territories is an asset
  • Experience with Yardi required
  • Ability to use MS Office suite at an intermediate level.
  • The ability to create and support web based visual learning modules and training materials.
  • Excellent customer service, communication skills, superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to provide a criminal record free of relevant convictions
  • A team player with the ability to collaborate with diverse working groups
  • Fluent in English in all communications
  • Frequent travel is a requirement of this position; up to 25% of the time.
