Help shape what comes next for Canada’s seed certification system while building on a strong and established foundation

Enjoy an excellent and competitive compensation program, including an annual salary of $180,000 to $210,000 within a flexible remote and national work environment

About The Canadian Seed Growers’ Association (CSGA) CSGA is a long-standing, science-based organization at the centre of Canada’s seed system. Since 1904, it has worked in partnership with the Government of Canada as the national authority for seed crop certification, delivering a trusted program grounded in the Seeds Act and Seed Regulations. The organization sets standards for varietal purity and oversees the certification of seed crops that support Canadian agriculture.

Each year, CSGA works with more than 2,900 seed growers and 2,500 businesses, covering over 1.25 million acres across more than 60 crop kinds and 2,000 varieties from coast to coast. This system helps maintain the identity, quality, and traceability of seed, supporting Canada’s reputation as a dependable source of high-quality seed. With more than a century of experience, a stable and long-standing team, and strong ties to the agricultural community, CSGA continues to play an active role in how seed is produced, verified, and trusted across Canada and internationally.
