In this role, you will play a key part in delivering clear, consistent, and engaging bilingual communications that support strategic priorities and strengthen relationships with key audiences, including media and public sector stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
You will help bring communications strategies to life through compelling bilingual content, collaboration across teams, and thoughtful execution. This role offers the opportunity to expand your expertise in public relations, government relations, and national-level communications initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Develop and deliver high-quality bilingual communications for internal and external audiences
• Support execution of multi-channel communication strategies across email, web, and social platforms
• Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and brand voice across all content
• Manage and review translation workflows, including collaboration with external vendors
• Create and support public relations materials such as media releases, key messages, and briefing documents
• Assist with media monitoring, outreach coordination, and press event logistics
• Contribute to government-facing communications, including briefing notes and stakeholder materials
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align messaging across departments
• Support content development for campaigns and organizational initiatives
• Track communications performance and contribute to reporting and insights
• Maintain organized documentation, calendars, and communication assets
Qualifications
• Fluency in both English and French, with strong written communication skills in both languages
• Post-secondary education in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
• 5 to 7 years of experience in communications, PR, or a related discipline
• Proven experience creating bilingual content for diverse audiences
• Experience supporting media relations and public-facing communications
• Familiarity with translation processes and content adaptation
• Exposure to public policy, stakeholder engagement, or government relations is an asset
• Strong organizational and project management skills in fast-paced environments
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret communication performance metrics
• Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills
