Description Are you ready to jumpstart your career as an Apprentice Automotive Technician/Tire Brake and Alignment Technician at our Tecumseh, ON store? We're seeking a motivated individual with strong problem‑solving skills and a passion for hands‑on work involving tires, brakes, and alignments. This position pays $22.70 per hour. We offer a clear path for career advancement and wage increases along the way.

Participate in an RRSP (Registered Retirement Savings Plan) program with matching Profit Sharing (DPSP (Deferred Profit‑Sharing Plan)).

Potential dive into apprenticeship training and work your way up from levels 1 to 2 to reach level 3.

Responsibilities

Perform front‑end brake services, shock replacements, and wheel alignments.

Remove, install, repair, and balance tires on passenger and light truck vehicles safely.

Diagnose tire issues and perform appropriate repairs.

Operate and maintain alignment and flush machines, and perform oil, lube, and filter services.

Assist with mechanical inspections and provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

Completion of an Automotive Technician Program or equivalent experience.

A valid driver’s license.

Strong mechanical aptitude, effective problem‑solving skills, and a willingness to learn in the automotive industry.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Physical capability to work in a demanding environment, including heavy lifting and frequent movement.

A safety‑focused mindset with a positive, respectful, and team‑oriented attitude.
