The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with direct Long-Term Care (LTC) and/or Retirement Home construction experience to lead projects from pre-construction through to closeout. This is a key role requiring someone who understands the unique complexities, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder environments associated with LTC and senior living projects.
Please note: Only candidates with proven experience delivering at least one full-cycle LTC or retirement residence project will be considered.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Lead the full project lifecycle from pre-construction through to turnover
Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and overall performance
Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
Oversee procurement, tendering, and subcontractor management
Monitor financial performance including cost control, forecasting, and change management
Ensure compliance with Ontario Building Code, LTC/healthcare standards, and regulatory requirements
Partner closely with Site Superintendents to drive safe, efficient execution on site
Proactively identify risks and implement solutions
Maintain strong client relationships and clear communication throughout the project
What We’re Looking For
5–10+ years of Project Management experience in construction
MUST HAVE: Direct experience delivering LTC and/or Retirement Home projects
Strong understanding of Ontario Building Code and healthcare/LTC regulations
Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder environments
Solid financial and contractual management experience
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore) is an asset
Compensation
Starting salary from $130,000+, based on experience
