Job description
Join PFX Group as a Logistics Director, providing strategic leadership for transportation across North America. This hybrid role emphasizes optimizing freight costs and enhancing service capabilities.

The Logistics Director is pivotal in managing logistics operations, overseeing teams in the U.S. and Canada, and developing comprehensive transportation strategies. With a focus on continuous improvement, you will leverage analytics to identify trends and implement effective cost reduction initiatives. Your role demands collaboration across multiple departments to ensure seamless operations and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities: • Create and implement North American transportation strategies • Lead negotiations for carrier cost reductions • Establish and manage logistics budgets and forecasts • Oversee daily transportation performance and compliance • Utilize KPIs to drive performance improvements

Requirements: • 10+ years in logistics and transportation management • Proven experience in cross-border freight operations • Expertise in Transportation Management Systems • Successful history of cost reduction initiatives • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain; MBA preferred
