Job description
Shape the future of AI services at the University of Saskatchewan as an AI Systems Team Lead. Drive innovation from concept to production, ensuring measurable impacts and operational excellence.

In this pivotal role, you will lead design, development, and deployment of institutional AI initiatives. Your responsibilities include guiding a technical team, establishing secure environments, and aligning AI projects with enterprise architecture. With a focus on fostering adoption and delivering results, you will engage with various stakeholders to identify high-value AI opportunities.

Key Responsibilities: • Lead AI projects from inception to production • Develop institutional AI services roadmap with milestones • Provide technical architecture guidance for AI solutions • Oversee AI infrastructure and data governance • Coordinate vendor relationships and platform selections

Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field • Minimum five years in enterprise application development • Experience in AI and Machine Learning systems • Strong leadership and mentorship skills • Proficiency in Python or Java development
