Job description
Drive AI/ML product development as Director of Engineering at CoLab. Oversee multiple teams while ensuring high-impact outcomes and quality in this remote-friendly opportunity.

CoLab is looking for a strategic leader to guide AI/ML engineering efforts. This role involves managing three key teams and ensuring coherent and efficient execution through ambiguity and complexity. You will collaborate closely with the CTO and other leaders to refine strategic roadmaps and achieve defined product results.

Key Responsibilities: • Oversee multiple AI/ML teams' execution and customer impact • Influence technical direction, architecture, and tooling • Streamline team operations through effective planning • Foster alignment between cross-functional teams • Develop Engineering Managers and support team scaling

Requirements: • Proven record leading teams in a B2B SaaS context • Expertise in AI/ML-driven products or services • Experience with ML system infrastructure • History of delivering ambiguous product initiatives • Ability to grow and mentor team members
