Description
Leads the data migration and quality assessment for the full 14 weeks with deep review focus in Weeks 1–8 ). Reviews data migration strategy, sequencing, execution, mock cutover outcomes, and data governance effectiveness. Data readiness across all functional areas is a prerequisite for go-live and directly determines cutover timing in the roadmap.
Deliverables
Phase 1 & 2 : Review data migration strategy, sequencing, and execution approach. Assess completeness of extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes and identify gaps and their resolution. Evaluate data quality management and data reconciliation processes. Review data governance, mapping completeness, and readiness for UAT. Assess data readiness across all functional workstreams (HCM, Finance, SCM, PM). Review mock cutover outcomes and evaluate repeatability of migration cycles. Assess SoD risks related to data migration access and controls. Review data-related RICEFW items and assess development completeness. Conduct deep dive workshops for data migration topics. Document data risk areas, outstanding activities, and dependencies. Compile data section of the diagnostic report including data readiness and delta-to-green across all workstreams.
Phase 3, finalize the data diagnostic report, document pros/cons for deployment options from a data migration perspective, and provide data cost estimates for each option.
Phase 4, contribute to finalizing the go-live roadmap with data migration timeline, resource/cost estimates, and participate in the executive briefing.
The Data Lead is responsible for driving the end‑to‑end data migration strategy and execution on the SAP program, ensuring all data objects are accurately extracted, transformed, validated, and loaded into the SAP landscape. This role leads the SI data team, coordinates closely with client data owners and functional workstreams, and ensures all migration cycles, data quality activities, and cutover deliverables are completed on time and to required standards.

Oversee ETL activities, mapping, transformation rules, and data validation.
Coordinate with functional teams to confirm data requirements and dependencies.
Drive mock conversions, data reconciliation, and defect resolution.
Ensure data quality, completeness, and readiness for cutover.
Provide status reporting, risk management, and issue escalation for all data activities.
