Job description
Drive successful infrastructure projects in the role of Deputy Project Director at Aecon, a leader in Canadian construction. Manage day-to-day operations of structures and roadways, focusing on quality, safety, and budget adherence.

Aecon seeks a Deputy Project Director to enhance collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and support project delivery. Your role will involve coordinating construction execution, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations. As a leader, you will champion safety and maintain site engagement, crucial for project success in urban environments.

Key Responsibilities: • Manage project performance across safety, quality, and cost areas • Lead execution planning for complex urban works • Coordinate efforts between construction and procurement teams • Ensure compliance with design, regulatory, and contract requirements • Resolve technical and execution challenges as needed

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent • 15+ years in senior roles on major infrastructure projects • Strong understanding of Design-Build and P3 models • Ability to influence diverse teams and stakeholders • Proven track record in building high-performing teams
