Job description
Shape the future of campus life at York University as the Associate Director of Recreation and Active Living. Drive innovative programming and community engagement across multiple campuses.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, this role is vital to planning and implementing recreation strategies at Keele, Markham, and Glendon campuses. You'll spearhead strategic initiatives that deliver on the Okanagan Charter and other well-being goals while enhancing student experiences through collaborative efforts. Your leadership will inspire managers and coordinators to achieve program excellence.

Key Responsibilities: • Design and execute tri-campus recreation initiatives • Foster collaboration among campus partners for engagement • Supervise and mentor a team of recreational managers • Implement adaptive strategies for program success • Contribute to the advancement of the A&R strategic objectives

Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Business, or related field • At least 7 years in recreational program management • 5 years management experience in relevant environments • Proven track record of community engagement and partnerships • Current membership with recreation professional associations
