Job descriptionCountry Manager – Canada Adecco is recruiting on a confidential basis for a Country Manager – Canada on behalf of an established international industrial services organization with a growing Canadian footprint. This is a senior leadership role responsible for setting and executing the Canadian business strategy, overseeing national operations, and supporting significant workforce and market expansion across the country.
Salary:
$140,000 - $200,000 base, dependent on experience
Location:
Halifax, NS (preferred), with flexibility for candidates open to relocation
Schedule:
Monday - Friday

Travel:
Some travel across Canada and occasional international travel required
Key Responsibilities
Set and lead the overall business strategy for Canada, ensuring delivery of commercial and expansion objectives
Provide oversight of national operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and alignment with global standards
Drive business development efforts, strengthening existing relationships and identifying new market opportunities
Own financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue growth
Build, develop, and lead the Canadian leadership and operational teams
Partner with HR to support talent attraction, engagement, and retention strategies
Ensure compliance with Canadian regulations, corporate policies, and HSE requirements
Act as a senior ambassador for the organization's values, culture, and brand in Canada
Promote continuous improvement through the adoption of best practices and innovative operating approaches
Required Experience & Profile
Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
Senior leadership experience within an industrial environment (engineering, industrial services, construction, energy, utilities, manufacturing, or heavy industry)
Proven experience leading multi‑site or national operations within Canada
Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated P&L responsibility
Experience scaling operations and teams during periods of growth
Comfortable operating in safety‑critical and highly regulated environments
Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities
Strategic mindset with the ability to work cross‑functionally and internationally
Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Canada, with occasional international travel
