The Territory for this position includes the Montreal and Ottawa areas. Candidates must be located within the Territory.

The role of a Territory Sales Manager is dynamic and challenging. This position rewards the self-driven relationship builder with an entrepreneurial spirit. The incumbent will work from his/her home office.. The Territory Sales Manager will develop business partnerships with key accounts and coordinate sales and training with each account on a regional level. Drive National Account sales for Continental Tire North America CTNA product and assist in Dealer sell out. This is an open position and selection will not be supported with AI assistance.

Specifically:

Sales
- Sales Calls – Face to face meetings with call plans followed up by CRM entries.
- Utilize all Continental provided products and tools including Truck Tire, Conti Retread Solutions, Digital Solutions, Salesforce, ContiTrack2 and ContiAdvantage to provide the overall lowest driving cost and an excellent experience for our customers.
- Retain and grow existing accounts and solicit new business by executing the sales strategy.

Planning
- Effectively manage territory through prioritization and maximum efficiency to ensure that corporate objectives, including established call frequencies and individual objectives are met.
- Develop and maintain territory coverage plan. Territory, Account, Opportunity and Call planning.
- Develop and maintain sales activity at key regional fleets, both national account and dealer controlled within areas of geographic responsibility. Achieve assigned sales targets in assigned region and accounts.
- Function as account manager for target dealers as assigned by Sales Managers.
- Participate in sales meetings, product and training meetings and new account development at target dealers.
- Identify opportunities for new product lines. Assist in the development of product strategy per key account to ensure current product lines are renewed or discarded in a normal product life cycle plan so that competition is not able to circumvent the market share of CTNA at the account.

Manage Pricing and Profitability
- Assist Sales Manager in developing programs and concepts to achieve sales and profit objectives. Monitor progress to objectives and aid the customer in developing and implementing corrective action plans, when needed.

Dealer & Fleet Training
- Develop and provide training for both company and dealer personnel. Conduct one-on-one training on product, selling and inventory management.

Market Analysis
- Conduct market intelligence to ensure sell out pricing in retail market. Analyze customers and market conditions to provide management with data about market trends, competitive products, pricing, promotions and programs, and assist in monthly article forecast with regional management. Identify opportunities and market new product lines through customer needs-analysis and knowledge of competitor products.

Additionally:

Forecasting
- Assist in coordination, monitoring, and managing inventory and production planning to meet the forecast and unit objectives per key account. Ensure forecasting by article number is current and accurate to ensure supply to retailers.

Administration
- Manage and resolve all operational and administrative issues that occur with the key accounts, such as billing errors, shipping errors, and other claim issues.
- Respond to all inquiries, both internal and external, on a timely basis; prepare weekly itineraries and expense reports; prepare routine and special reports as required by management; and maintain a professional image.
- Prepare professional presentations.
- Utilize Salesforce for documenting sales activities.

This is an open position and the use of AI is not used in the selection process. The starting salary for this opportunity typically ranges from $75,000-$100,000, plus sales bonus, depending upon experience level

Le titulaire du poste travaillera depuis son domicile. Le Responsable commercial régional développera des partenariats commerciaux avec des comptes clés et coordonnera les activités de vente et de formation auprès de chaque compte, à l'échelle régionale. Il stimulera les ventes auprès des comptes nationaux pour les produits de Continental Tire North America (CTNA) et apportera son soutien aux revendeurs dans leurs opérations de revente. Il s'agit d'un poste à pourvoir ; le processus de sélection ne sera pas assisté par l'intelligence artificielle.

Ventes

- Appels commerciaux – Rencontres en face à face, planifiées et suivies d'une saisie dans le CRM.

- Utiliser l'ensemble des produits et outils fournis par Continental — notamment Truck Tire, Conti Retread Solutions, Digital Solutions, Salesforce, ContiTrack2 et ContiAdvantage — afin d'assurer le coût d'exploitation global le plus bas possible et d'offrir une expérience d'excellence à nos clients.

- Fidéliser et développer les comptes existants, et prospecter de nouvelles opportunités commerciales en mettant en œuvre la stratégie de vente.

Planification

- Gérer efficacement le territoire en priorisant les tâches et en optimisant l'efficacité afin d'atteindre les objectifs de l'entreprise, notamment la fréquence des visites et les objectifs individuels.

- Élaborer et maintenir un plan de couverture du territoire : planification des territoires, des comptes, des opportunités et des visites.

- Développer et maintenir l'activité commerciale auprès des flottes clés de la région, qu'il s'agisse de comptes nationaux ou de concessionnaires, dans les zones géographiques de responsabilité. Atteindre les objectifs de vente fixés pour la région et les comptes attribués.

- Assurer la gestion des comptes des concessionnaires cibles désignés par les responsables des ventes.

- Participer aux réunions commerciales, aux réunions de formation et de présentation des produits, ainsi qu'au développement de nouveaux comptes chez les concessionnaires cibles.

- Identifier les opportunités pour les nouvelles gammes de produits. Contribuer à l'élaboration de la stratégie produit par compte clé afin de garantir le renouvellement ou l'abandon des gammes de produits actuelles dans le cadre d'un plan de cycle de vie normal, et ainsi empêcher la concurrence de prendre des parts de marché à CTNA auprès de ce compte.

Gérer la tarification et la rentabilité

- Assister le Responsable commercial dans l'élaboration de programmes et de concepts visant à atteindre les objectifs de vente et de rentabilité. Suivre la progression par rapport aux objectifs et aider le client à élaborer et mettre en œuvre des plans d'actions correctives, le cas échéant.

Formation des concessionnaires et des gestionnaires de flotte

- Élaborer et dispenser des formations destinées tant au personnel de l'entreprise qu'à celui des concessionnaires. Animer des séances de formation individuelles portant sur les produits, la vente et la gestion des stocks.

Analyse de marché

- Mener une veille concurrentielle afin d'optimiser la politique tarifaire de revente sur le marché de détail. Analyser la clientèle et les conditions de marché pour fournir à la direction des données relatives aux tendances du marché, aux produits concurrents, à la tarification, ainsi qu'aux promotions et programmes en cours ; apporter par ailleurs son soutien à la direction régionale dans l'élaboration des prévisions mensuelles par article. Identifier les opportunités et assurer le lancement de nouvelles gammes de produits, en s'appuyant sur une analyse des besoins clients et une connaissance approfondie des produits concurrents.

Prévisions

- Contribuer à la coordination, au suivi et à la gestion des stocks ainsi que de la planification de la production, afin d'atteindre les objectifs de prévision et de volume par compte clé. Veiller à ce que les prévisions par référence article soient actualisées et exactes, afin d'assurer l'approvisionnement des détaillants.

Administration

- Gérer et résoudre tous les problèmes opérationnels et administratifs survenant avec les comptes clés (tels que les erreurs de facturation, les erreurs d'expédition et autres litiges).

- Répondre dans les meilleurs délais à toutes les demandes, tant internes qu'externes ; préparer les plannings hebdomadaires et les notes de frais ; élaborer les rapports courants et spécifiques requis par la direction ; et maintenir une image professionnelle.

- Élaborer des présentations professionnelles.

- Utiliser Salesforce pour documenter les activités commerciales.

Il s'agit d'un poste à pourvoir, et l'intelligence artificielle n'est pas utilisée dans le processus de sélection. Le salaire de départ pour cette opportunité se situe généralement entre 75 000 $ et 100 000 $, auquel s'ajoutent des primes de vente, selon le niveau d'expérience.


Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree AND 3+ year of related professional experience OR minimum 6 years relevant sales experience if no relevant Bachelor’s degree.
  • Fluent in English and French languages
  • Sales and Marketing Activities - Demonstrated experience and skills in Sales and Marketing. Select and use the sales tools during process. Identify needs and/or opportunities. Present solutions/ options.
  • Functional knowledge - Knowledge of the principles, practices, and standard methodologies of Sales coupled with a knowledge of the standard Marketing programs to provide advisory services. Comply with corporate policies. Understand financials. Think globally and act locally. Follow industry standards
  • Microsoft Programs experience. Fills and modifies templates and tables, charts and uses effectively various format functions.
  • Consulting services - Knowledge of various special Sales and Marketing programs to assist management in meeting goals.
  • Oral and Written communications - ability to use effective oral communications to present ideas/explain material to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to lift Truck Tires
  • Travel required
  • Valid driver's license and passport are required.
  • Legal Authorization to work in Canada is required.
