Job description
Become a Machine Learning Engineer II at Affirm, with a focus on fraud detection, in a fully remote role. Collaborate across teams to build and refine models that safeguard transactions. In this position, ideal for those with over two years of experience or a relevant PhD, you will engage in creating effective fraud prevention models. Working closely with engineering and data teams, you'll develop feature pipelines, prototype new ideas, and integrate sophisticated models into production environments to enhance consumer safety. Key Responsibilities: • Develop innovative fraud prediction models from various data types • Create scalable training datasets and feature extraction pipelines • Prototype features and drive successful models into production • Improve model reliability and monitor for evolving fraud patterns • Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and results Requirements: • 2+ years of experience in machine learning engineering or PhD • Excellent Python programming skills for production coding • Experience with gradient-boosted trees such as LightGBM is preferred • Familiarity with deep learning frameworks, mainly PyTorch • Proficient in using ML lifecycle tools like Kubeflow or Airflow Seize the opportunity to shape the future of credit and consumer protection with Affirm. #J-18808-Ljbffr
